The Cabin Boy is a Fisherfolk enemy in Darkest Dungeon II.
Description[]
The Cabin Boy is the abject result of the bond between humanity and horrors from the deep. A frail medusa carrying a human fetus, this abomination is close to give birth to more monsters of the shore. Beware, as the newborns carry the mutations their surrogate mother blessed them with.
While the Cabin Boy itself is relatively harmless, if not killed it quickly transforms into another random Fisherfolk. The transformed enemy will carry the Cabin Boy's unique Newborn Mutation token, granting them a number of powerful offensive and defensive buffs.
Newborn Mutation[]
A token that buffs the Cabin Boy; or more accurately, the monster that the Cabin Boy transforms into.

Strategy[]
The Cabin Boy has a relatively low amount of , and it is advisable to kill them quickly—there is a notable difference between continuing a fight with one fewer potential enemy, versus a fight with a fully-healed and much more dangerous one.
