Combat Items are items that can be equipped by a Hero in Darkest Dungeon II. They are consumable items that are able to be used by a Hero during their turn and is considered a Free Action. (Does not use your Turn)

Combat items can be acquired in multiple ways.

The primary currency used to purchase Combat Items is Relics. Though there are some cases (such as Bone Saw) which can be purchased using Baubles.

Every hero has one slot for combat items. Placing the item there from the player's inventory will give that hero access to the item so it can then be used by the Hero during combat (it's consumed on the spot). Once entered the combat or entered the Lair no other can be equipped and the number of Combat items equipped depends on the item itself (Can be increased with Stagecoach Items and Leviathan trophy).
