Sinister agents of the Hag, the Crones are women that joined of the Coven of Witches that resides within the Weald. Maybe these misguided women joined the Coven to help their families by looking for the cure against the corruption; maybe in their vanity they joined so that they could get the secret to eternal beauty and power that they desired; or maybe they simply joined out of desperation. Who they were does not matter, for they have become agents of the growing pestilence in the surrounding woods. Utilizing a curious mixture of herbs and other unsavory ingredients, these women seek the same dark knowledge as the Hag. Strangely enough, they do not possess the same physical characteristics as their supposed matron; whether or not this is because they've witnessed the Hag's putrid form brought about by her witchcraft, or they simply haven't mastered it... only time will tell.

Crones are Human enemy support units that appear in the Weald. These enemies can target two heroes at once with Curse of Vulnerability - reducing ACC and DODGE - and Embrace the Dark, a similar spell to Cultist's Stressful Incantation. If forced to the front they use Fetid Censer, which inflicts blight on the front two ranks.
Curse of Vulnerability increases enemy's chances of landing one of their lethal attacks on the Heroes, and even worse so, the Crone will target two members of your party with it at once. She should be prioritized first in any battle. Since the Crone currently starts every battle in stealth, consider bringing de-stealthing abilities, debuffs notably Occultist's Vulnerability Hex (reduces the Crone's DODGE), or AoE abilities.
