Items in Darkest Dungeon consist of Provisions, Loot, and Trinkets

Loot

The various Loot items in Darkest Dungeon are available for pickup after defeating monsters or finding them in curios. These are items of high value which are sold for gold upon returning to the Hamlet.

Heirlooms

Heirlooms are a special kind of loot that is used to upgrade buildings in the Town. In addition to gaining heirlooms for finishing a dungeon, additional heirlooms can be collected while exploring.

Bust Stack 6 Description A sculpted bust of a once prominent local figure. {{{info}}}	Portrait Stack 3 Description Though painted a hundred years ago, the resemblance to you is uncanny. {{{info}}}	Deed Stack 6 Description Scriven records of land grants in generations past. {{{info}}}	Crest Stack 12 Description A sigil of honor earned by family actions long since past. {{{info}}}
Blueprint Stack 1 Description Meticulous architectural sketches of Hamlet structures. Needed to build Districts. {{{info}}}

Here is a short list of what each heirloom upgrades:

• Crests are used to upgrade all buildings in town.
• Portraits are used to upgrade the Guild and the Tavern.
• Busts are used to upgrade the Abbey and the Sanitarium.
• Deeds are used to upgrade the Stage Coach and the Blacksmith.
• Blueprints are used to build Districts.

Trinkets

Trinkets are equippable items that can be found in the dungeons or bought at the Nomad Wagon. Each hero is able to carry two different trinkets with various effects.

Curse Items

The Crimson Court DLC adds a new disease known as the Crimson Curse, effectively turning your heroes into vampires. There are two items that relate to it; the Blood which is used to sustain your cursed heroes, and the Cure which is one of the only ways to lift the curse from your heroes

The Blood Stack 6 Description The call is unyielding; the urge is irresistable. Only the Blood will quell this thirst. {{{info}}}

The Cure Stack 6 Description Its origin and ingredients unknown, but this tincture will quell the Curse. Cures Crimson Curse. Only dropped by the Fanatic. {{{info}}}

Crimson Court Invitation Stack 3-? Description - {{{info}}}

The invitation are dropped by any Gatekeeper, or given at the end of the courtyard's boss quest, there is three types of it:

• Baron's invitation: An invitation to an evening of games and entertainment. Signed 'The Baron'
• Viscount's invitation: "We have a place of honour for you in the banquet hall" - the Viscount
• Countess' invitation: Delicate script inviting you to dance affixed with the Countess' royal seal

Quest Items

Some quests require the player to retrieve certain items or activate Curios with special items given at the start of the quest. Each region's items are unique.

Holy Relic Stack 1 Description A surviving trophy from a past holy war. {{{info}}}	Medicine Stack 1 Description Powerful medicines... worth more than gold to a beleaguered Hamlet. {{{info}}}	Grain Sack Stack 1 Description A bag of precious unspoiled grain. {{{info}}}	Ancestor's Relic Stack 1 Description Some things are better left unopened. {{{info}}}
Hand of Glory Stack 1 Description The left hand of some malefactor who died on the gallows, made into a candle with the man's own fat. {{{info}}} f Achievements Image Name Description Greater riches were never witnessed...
