Simple-minded creatures that have been enthralled by Pelagic sorcery, Sea Maggots appear to be mutated Sea Snails and are the closest thing the Pelagics have to domesticated pets. While they are neither fast or physically strong, they make up for these deficiencies with an incredibly tough shell that can repel even the heaviest of blows and the ability to spit an extremely sticky and disease-ridden slime. This slime ensnares their prey, leaving them open to being slain by their masters, provided they don't succumb to disease first.

The Sea Maggot is an Eldritch type enemy that appears in the Cove. The Sea Maggot is an incredibly slow enemy with pitiful amount of hit points. However, they make up this with a massive PROT bonus and the ability to inflict diseases on heroes. Control them with Stuns and use Blight to bypass their armor. Alternatively, the Grave Robber or Shieldbreaker's armor piercing attacks reliably end a Sea Maggot.
