The Widow is a Gaunt enemy in Darkest Dungeon II found in all regions except The Mountain.
Description[]
The frail Widow can be found throughout an expedition, typically in road battles and at the Chirurgeon's Table. Obsessed with beholding herself in the mirror she clutches, the Widow's horror at her own wizened appearance is transferred to the heroes with her main attack, Gruesome Reflection. While this attack does pitiful direct damage, the 
Horror it inflicts on heroes can stack up large amounts of stress if the battle is not ended before all three rounds of the horror's duration pass, particularly if the Widow gets to use this attack more than once.
The Widow does not make ending battles quickly very easy, however, with her other main attack, Desperate Grab, disrupting the party by pulling its target out of position and 
stunning them, giving your party less turns to work with.
Pulling the Widow up to the very front of the enemy team puts her at her weakest; terrified of the heroes glimpsing her withered features, the Widow will lash out and Blind one of the frontline heroes while rushing back to the further ranks.
